This Motto-bodied coupe, chassis 0074E saw plenty of competition action with several owners and we have a number of liveries on the car here. For the first outing on the Giro di Sicilia the car was in primer but was soon painted red and appeared for the rest of 1951 and into 1952 in this colour. For the 1953 season the car passed to Ecurie Francorchamps and was finished in their traditional yellow and then the fourth owner, Ilfo Minzoni had it repainted in a two-tone red and blue for 1954. The shape of the car looks very good and the finishes are to a high standard. On the two-tone versions the masking is very neat and there’s a very fine pinstripe decal separating the colours.

About Faenza 43
Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. The various Ferrari and Maserati machines which ended up in SCCA races of the late 50s and early 60s are a particular speciality, but also plenty of machines raced in Europe too. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat )or should that be more realistic!?) but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
