Chaparral 1 Sebring 12hrs 1963 #10 by Marsh Models
Chaparral 1 Sebring 1963 #10
Alternative version MM251 kit & MM251M9 #9
Jim Hall had intended to run the new mid-engined Mk2 at Sebring but it wasn’t ready so the Mk1 made its final appearance as a factory car. The bodywork was based on the new version but to comply with new regulations tall fins were created on the eve of the race giving the machine a very unusual look. Marsh’s main body casting is typically clean and captures the details of the car pretty well, with our only query being the height of the cockpit sides compared with the etched windscreen frame. The hand built models are superbly finished as always, with flawless paint and neatly applied detailing.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
