McLaren M8F Can-Am 1973 #8/97/98 by Marsh Models
Hand built available MM257M8 Patrick MM257M97 Brown & MM257M98 Hopkins
Of the three options offered in this kit from the 1973 Watkins Glen Can-Am race, Scooter Patrick scored the best result and will also be the simplest build with very basic decoration over a blue base. The two Commander Caravan’s entered cars are a little more involved on the decaling front with many fine pin stripes to apply, something that has been done very precisely on the cleanly finished hand built models. The kit parts are all typically well made with clean resin and metal castings and Marsh’s traditional fold up etched cockpit tub that will be familiar to builders of Can-Am kits.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
