Triumph TR2 Le Mans 1955 #29 Hadley/Richardson by Spark
Triumph TR2 Le Mans 1955 #29
Alternative version SPK1392 #28 & SPK1394 #68
The three works Triumphs at Le Mans were run very much in the original spirit of the race, being basically standard cars (albeit very carefully assembled) with minimal modification such as the removal of windscreens and bumpers, and all three finished scooping the team prize along the way. The shape of the car is very well replicated and the decoration and detailing is very neatly done. In film and photos of the three at the end of the race this car appears to have a hole hacked in the front panel above the main radiator opening, whereas the model is as it started the race in pristine condition.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
