The rather unusual looking machine at the top left of this issue is SMTS’ model of Smokey Yunick’s Hurst Floor Shifter Special Indycar. The model is available as a kit (RL061) or hand built (RL061M). To the right we find Provence Moulage’s kit (PM2875) of the Ferrari 575GTC racer Press car, which will also be available built (ST0271M).
Below the Ferrari is the final model in Heco’s long running series of Bugatti Royales. The Binder Coupé was the final design on these gargantuan chassis and is available hand built only (ref HEC386). To the left of the Bugatti we find Axel’R’s forthcoming Porsche 907C. The 6th placed Targa Florio machine from 1969 will be available as a painted kit (VHCK027) or hand built (VHCK027M).

The very attractive Lamborghini Countach below the Porsche is one of the cars built for Walter Wolf and offered as either a kit (MRC067) or hand built (MRC067M) by MR Collection. Alongside the Countach is one we know a lot of you have been waiting for, the Pagani Zonda C12S. The photo shows a couple of possible colour combinations you could use on the Provence Moulage kit (PM2871), which will also be available built (ST0273M).
While this issue was being put together the Dakar rally was in full swing, so it’s only right that we should have a Dakar subject on the cover. It’s the Schlesser built Renault Kangoo driven by Luc Alphand in 2001, modelled by Jemmpy as a painted kit (JEM193) and hand built (JEM193M). Finally we have another painted resin kit (RUFX010), the 1960 Le Mans Maserati T61 Steamliner, a new release by André-Marie Ruf in his Plan-X range.
