Cover gallery
The regal machine at top left on the cover is the 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II built for the Maharajah of Rajkot and modelled by CCC as either a kit (CCCS005) or hand built (CCCS005M). The other orange machine alongside is Tameo kit TMK313, Brambilla’s March 751 from the British GP, complete with rather unusual aerodynamics.
Below the March is Marsh Models hand built (MM093MM) of Herbert Muller’s Interserie winning Porsche 917/20. We could have illustrated the other option from the kit (MM093) here but we felt there was already enough orange! The colourful Trophy Andros BMW next to the Porsche is by Axel’R and available as a painted kit (VHCK023) or hand built (VHCK023M).

Next one down is the Lamborghini 350GTV by Brianza available as a kit (BRK43163) or built (ABC163). On the right of the page Renaissance bring us bang up to date with their 1:24th transkit (REN24142) to covert the Heller plastic kit (HEL80769) into Loeb’s 2003 Monte Carlo rally winner.
Under the Citroen is one of Spark’s excellent value resin builts (SPK0027), the Banana Joe’s Lola from Daytona last year. And finally, we couldn’t resist the barking mad Giannini Fiat 126, appropriately enough by Mad Models in kit (MAD019) and hand built (MAD019M).
