We have two very colourful modern racers at the head of our front page this time round. On the left is Spark’s die-cast (SPK0933) of the Gruppe M Porsche RSR FIA N-GT 2005 Championship-winner. To the right is Renaissance’s 1:24th transkit (REN24244) which converts the Heller Citroen Xsara WRC kit (HEL80754) into the car of Dani Sordo, one of the revelations of the 2006 World Rally Championship.
The rather unusual looking machine below the Xsara is the 1994 Michelak Ferrari Conciso styling exercise, created by Alezan as a hand built model only in a run of just 200 pieces (ALEAC003). The silver machine to the left is another hand built, this time by Glamour Model (GLP063) of the Cisitalia 202 from the 1948 Mille Miglia.

We celebrate a rare delivery from Faenza 43 with their model (FAE093B) of the Ferrari 500 Mondial driven by Hawthorn in the 1955 Supercortemagiore race. Showing off its engine to the right is another Ferrari. The 612 Scaglietti represents a new open panel hand built range by Gasoline (GASOPEN001B).
We have a reader’s model beneath the 612. It’s the Tameo superkit of the Lotus 72 (TMKWCT70) which has been expertly built by Alan Evans of West Sussex. Finally we have a very unusual model from Ban Seng. This hand built (BAN044) of the DC Infidel, a Toyota MR2 based styling exercise which was shown in Geneva in 2002.
