Cover gallery

Top left of the cover this time is Marsh Models amazingly liveried Led Zepplin sponsored McLaren M8E/D (ref MM020LE) which will initially be available as a very small quantity of hand-builts and later - probably next year - as a kit. Below the McLaren is a masterpiece of model miniaturisation by Stephen Barnett in the form of the Le Mans 1957 Maserati 450S (ref SBT001). The level of superlative quality of Stephen's fine detailing just has to be seen to be believed. Below the Maserati is Renaissance Integral range ref RENI062 - an excellent model of the Almeras brothers Porsche 935 which finished 3rd on the Tour de France of 1976 - whilst bringing up the base of the left hand column is Tron's fine-looking Ferrari BB512 (ref TRO184P) from Le Mans 1978.

At the top of the right hand column is Marsh Models beautiful model of the classic Alan Mann Racing Ford 3-litre Coupé (ref MM068) and beneath that is the 'Tiger' art car BMW M1 Group 5 DTM 1981 from Competiton 43 (ref COMS060M) - what an amazing livery scheme that car wore. Beneath the M1 is FSW reader Colin Nash' fine build of the Tameo Minardi F1 M02 of 2000 (TMK292) - you can read his comments about it on page 9. Last but not least on the lower right hand side is Tenariv's fine model (ref TEN285) of the Matra MS11 of model collector and antique toy enthusiast Jean-Pierre Beltoise from the Italian Grand Prix of 1968. This selection of new models helps prove our oft-quoted view that the current standard of modelling in our sphere has never been higher.
