Maserati 450S super model by Stephen Barnett - see reviews page1
Stephen has come up with a great new subject for his latest exercise in "fully detailed" 1:43rd scale modelling - the exciting looking (and sounding!) Le Mans 1957 mount of Behra and Simon. So fine is the detail that he has included in this stunning looking miniature that all we are showing you above is the engine bay. The complete car is on the cover and on page 1. As with all of Stephen's models - seeing is believing.
Kenna Models - Allard K1 Roadster 1946 - see reviws page 1 This manufacturer is new to the 'Models of the month' page but gets the promotion for a fine piece of scale modelling that looks both correct and pleasing. The Allard's unique bonnet and radiator shape are not easy to capture but Kenna have miniaturised both very well indeed and these features give the model a unique instantly recognisable quality.
Ferrari F1 2001 - Tameo Kits - see page 1 Luca Tameo is no stranger to these pages and makes this appearance courtesy of a brilliant set of parts to build this year's all conquering (well almost) Ferrari. We didn't have a photo of the full-size car so scanned part of the kit's instructions instead.
The model above is Marsh Models McLaren M1A - see reviews page 2 Almost every one of Marsh's releases this month is worthy of inclusion on this page but we had to choose one to represent them all - it's the wonderful-looking McLaren Mk1 whcih has that instantly desirable factor.
ABC128 - OSCA 2500GT Zagato 1998 - see reviews page 6 This too has that instant 'I want it factor'. We know nothing about the car itself (yet!) but doesn't the model look superb?
