Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Kit also available BRK43274 This car, chassis 0358AM, was originally sold by Ferrari to Franco Cornacchia and became part of the semi-official Ferrari team on the 1953 Carrera Panamericana, driven by Maglioli. The body was, at the time, unique and was the forerunner to the short run of production 375MM Berlinettas the following year. ABC’s model is very well finished in a bright red and captures the basic shape of the body well, though we do have detail queries. The etched window frames are excellent and include the fine support down the centre of the windscreen. We’ve not found a rear end shot of the car when it was new but the car today has a recessed rear number plate rather than the flush mounted item on the model. The door handles are also wrong and the beautifully fitting windows are lacking the vents on the corners. Close but not quite.
