ABC Brianza - Ferrari 340 America Coupe Fontana 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 340 America Coupe Fontana 1953 Kit also available - BRK43285 This has to be one of the most unusual bodies ever to grace any chassis, let alone a Ferrari! From the front it looks fairly conventional for the time with a large egg-crate style grille and slightly recessed headlights, the grille being supplied as a number of neat slot-together etched parts. Itís the sides and the rear that are most unorthodox and the overall shape looks very good in the kit casting. This body configuration appears to have only been on the car for a few months and was the fourth style on the chassis in less than three years, being replaced in 1955 with a Scaglietti design. ABCís model captures the shape pretty well and, with the exception of the fit of the side window frames, the model is very well finished.
