Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Rather confusingly there were two subtly different body styles of the MG ZB Magnette and the variation was in the size of the rear window. The ‘Varitone’ cars usually also had two-tone paint and had a wider rear screen, whereas this is an example of the normal model which was basically the same body as the ZA but with the mechanical upgrades. We’ve seen the ZA modelled before by K&R and the basic shape is good and the castings clean.
About K & R Replicas
Well cast, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
