Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Alfa Romeo 1500 6C Targa Florio 1928 #16 Also available ADA43004 Mille Miglia #30 & ADA43007 Targa Florio #30 Giuseppe Campari finished second overall on the Targa Florio in 1928, his Alfa being one of only three non-Bugatti finishers (the other two were Maseratis some way behind). For the event the car ran in extremely light weight form with absolutely minimal bodywork to cover the engine and support the seats and a fuel tank that was little more than a simple drum. There are a remarkable number of photos available of the car on the event and this beautifully finished miniature does a fine job of replicating it. The finish is probably rather too good, with a high gloss to all of the parts and we see plenty of subtle details, from the tiny steering drop links, to the delicate straps holding that fuel tank in place. Superbly done and limited to an edition of just 50 examples.
