Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Jaguar's XJS found the E Type a tough act to follow and was waning in popularity by the late 1970s, so Jaguar started looking for alternative designs. Independent of these projects, Pininfarina had their own ideas and this design appeared at the 1978 Birmingham Motor Show. Alezan's model captures the shape of this one off car pretty well but we were at a loss as to why it was finished in dark metallic green when every photograph we could find showed the car in silver. It transpires that the silver was first seen in Geneva a few months after the Birmingham show and that green was the original colour.
Simple and accurate resin kits but very basic instructions. Range suitable for newcomers to our hobby due to simplicity of kits. Some kits also available built. ALEAC references are built only and very limited editions with production numbers often only in double figures. Made in France
