Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The P140 was a still born Lamborghini project to create a replacement of the Jalpa and re-enter the mid-priced supercar segment going head to head with the Ferrari 348 and Porsche 911, but parent company Chrysler called time on it. The first model here represents the original prototype as road tested, though there had been a few detail changes by the time press images appeared, the mirrors being changed, the rear buttresses shortened slightly and the car repainted red before being lost in a storage basement. Some years later the car was recovered, recommissioned and painted white, with a few upgrades. In this form it looks a lot more modern. The white model still has the longer buttresses originally seen on the orange car but otherwise looks good when compared with photos of the restored machine at Pebble Beach. Both models have decals for door handles which lets them down a little but the fit and finish is otherwise fairly good.
Simple and accurate resin kits but very basic instructions. Range suitable for newcomers to our hobby due to simplicity of kits. Some kits also available built. ALEAC references are built only and very limited editions with production numbers often only in double figures. Made in France
