Alfa Model 43 - Alfa Romeo 8c 2900B Spider Touring 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Rather confusingly Emilio Romano entered his ex-works Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 under the same starting number for both the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio in 1948 and looking at event photos for each, it would appear they may even have been the same painted numbers. A few of the small details on this well finished model, such as the sizing of the registration plate characters and the height of the headlights, are slightly off but overall it looks very smart. The Mille Miglia car had a small windscreen wiper added to the aeroscreen on the driverís side, so with only this tiny addition you could place the model in a Mille Miglia collection, or in a Targa theme as is.
About Alfa Model 43
Well finished and presented resin hand built models. Good paint and a modest amount of carefully applied photo-etch detailing. Subjects usually the slightly more unusual Alfa Romeo subjects, plus a few Ferraris, again rarely modelled versions. Made in Italy.
