Alfa Model 43 - Alfa Romeo 8c 2900B Cabriolet Pininfarina 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine It took a fair amount of digging to find reference on this car as it is one that disappeared for many years and now lives in a private collection only making very rare public appearances. Although the chassis (412012) was originally built in 1937, it was a race car with cycle fenders and this elegant and unique four seat tourer was built a little later, probably around 1939-40. Alfa Model have captured the spirit of the car but there are a number of detail omissions on the body such as the cooling slots around the radiator shell. The build quality is very good with excellent paint and plenty of fine etched detail, particularly around the passenger area and it all adds up to make an attractive model.
About Alfa Model 43
Well finished and presented resin hand built models. Good paint and a modest amount of carefully applied photo-etch detailing. Subjects usually the slightly more unusual Alfa Romeo subjects, plus a few Ferraris, again rarely modelled versions. Made in Italy.
