Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 375MM Golden Gate 1954 #105 McAfee This 375 looks most unusual with its brown paint and whitewashed nose and in terms of placement of decoration it matches photos of Ernie McAfee winning at Golden Gate Park, although we’re not convinced about the colour. Colour photos of the car as delivered to Tony Parravano in April 1954 show it to be bright red and we know that it was repainted after a fire at Sebring in 1955, that re-spray described in period as maroon which English speakers usually take a dark red, whereas in many European languages is translated as marron, or chestnut.
