Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 250 MM Vignale Liege-Rome-Liege 1954 Most 250MMs bodied by Vignale were spiders, making chassis 0334MM a very rare beast indeed. The car was delivered to its first Swiss owner in May 1953 and finished in a pale gold with a black roof and black sill panels. The chassis history suggests that the car was repainted red by its third owner, in 1956, but black and white photos from the 1954 Liege-Rome-Liege show that it had been at least partially recoloured by then as the roof and sill panels are much lighter than the main body. The lustre on that main finish suggests that it may still have been gold, but without colour images we canít be certain. BBRís decoration in terms of decals and rally plate placement matches these monochrome photos very well and itís all extremely well finished, as we would expect.
