Alfa Romeo SZ Sebring 1963 #59
Both Art Swanson and Ross Durant were regulars at Sebring and other races in the south east of the US through the late fifties and early sixties and their mount for the 1963 12-Hours was this off-white Alfa Zagato with which they, joined by another Clearwater local Bobby Richardson, finished second in class and thirtieth overall. The basic shape of the model is good and the decoration is neatly applied and checks out with race photos. The wrap around rear windscreen is sitting slightly proud at the bottom on our sample but the remaining windows and small details all sit snuggly.
