Ford Fiesta S2000 1st Monte 2010 1:24 by Belkits
Although modelled in a similar style to the Peugeot, we already see a step forward for this young maker and these Fiesta kits contain 30-odd extra components and many of these are worked into the suspension and roll cage structures. Under the skin both kits are very similar but the bodyshells themselves are completely different with significant changes to the wheel arches, bumpers and most obviously, the rear spoilers. Again we have the choice of etch or decal for the seat belts and the extra parts mean a bigger instruction manual. The S2000 kit is a single option, Hirvonen familiarising himself with the Fiesta in preparation for the following year’s switch to the new car in the WRC. The WRC version offers the choice of Hirvonen or Latvala from the German round, though this wasn’t a great event for Ford.
