Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Golden Arrow Daytona 1929 Segrave The packaging is a little different on this new release, with a good stout box printed to look like the wooden shipping crate in which Henry Seagrave’s speed record contender was loaded for transport to America. Inside this box we’re greeted by a very well finished model which has the correct details such as the official name of the car ‘Irving Napier Special’ stencilled on the head fairing and the gun sight fitted ahead of the driver to help keep the car in a straight line. The panel engraving is very neat beneath the paint, with the side mounted surface radiators looking particularly good.
Very well finished mass-produced resin models. As the name suggests, subjects chosen are often the more unusual cars to have raced. Paint finishes usually very good. Some models feature photo-etched components. Made in China.
