Bizarre - Oldsmobile Aerotech Long Tail 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Oldsmobile Aerotech Long Tail 1987 Alternative version BIZ1004 Short Tail Based on a March single seater chassis and powered by a heavily turbocharged version of Oldsmobile’s new Quad 4 road car engine, two variants of the Aerotech concept appeared at Firestone’s Fort Stockton, Texas test track. The short-tailed version (BIZ1004) set a closed circuit record, while this beautiful long-tailed machine was used for a flying mile attempt, setting a speed of 267mph with AJ Foyt at the wheel. The flowing shape of the car has been captured extremely well and the overall standard of finish is excellent.
Very well finished mass-produced resin models. As the name suggests, subjects chosen are often the more unusual cars to have raced. Paint finishes usually very good. Some models feature photo-etched components. Made in China.
