Bizarre - Austin Healey Sprite Prototype 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine We saw Bizarre’s model of the class winning sister car (BIZ425) to this one in FSW 9/2010 and told then the story of how the cars were painted at the last minute in American military surplus green paint after a run in with the stewards over the original shade. Again we see a model with a deliberately dull paint finish to reflect the usage of this paint, with the original fluorescent colour visible around the filler neck. This car was a little less successful, retiring with transmission failure in the 22nd hour.
Very well finished mass-produced resin models. As the name suggests, subjects chosen are often the more unusual cars to have raced. Paint finishes usually very good. Some models feature photo-etched components. Made in China.
