Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The smaller engine classes were very well supported at Le Mans in the early 1950s and in 1952 several very similar looking, Panhard engined machines were entered variously under the Panhard and Monopole names. The Le Mans race is gruelling at the best of times but for many of the little 600cc flat twins, this one included, the stresses were too much and retirement beckoned at half distance. The model is well finished and the shape looks pretty good.
Very well finished mass-produced resin models. As the name suggests, subjects chosen are often the more unusual cars to have raced. Paint finishes usually very good. Some models feature photo-etched components. Made in China.
