Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Also available BOS001CM - built Thompson
There were no factory Fords in the 1971 Trans-Am, representation of the blue oval being left to a raft of private teams. One such was the Troy Promotions outfit with Jerry Thompson and Tony de Lorenzo on driving duties. They weren't able to deal with the works Penske Javelin or Moore's new cars, but they weren't far behind. The basic kit parts here have been seen before when SMTS made the 1970 cars some years ago and they are well cast. A two tone paint finish will be needed and there are then clearly printed decals to finish things off.
Reasonably well cast white metal kits that build with ease. Open wheeled subjects usually accurate, road cars not always so. With hand-built models again single seaters usually better. Made in England.
