Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ford Mustang Trans-Am 1967 Titus Also available BOS014BM built For the second season of the Trans-Am, Detroit was taking notice and Ford, Mercury and Chevrolet all had factory backed teams. It was a manufacturersí championship but had there been a driversí title, Jerry Titus would have been the winner in his Shelby run machine with five race wins. In the instructions SMTS describe the body colour as cream, and in photos it looks like a very pale yellow, so that will be best Devon clotted cream as a colour guide then! The bonnet needs to be masked and painted matt black and thatís the most complicated aspect of what should be a fun build.
Reasonably well cast white metal kits that build with ease. Open wheeled subjects usually accurate, road cars not always so. With hand-built models again single seaters usually better. Made in England.
