Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ford Mustang 4th Daytona 1968 #1 Kit also available BOS015B For 1968 there was a Trans-Am class within the Daytona 24 Hour and Sebring 12 Hour races and for Daytona the top two drivers of 1967, Titus and Bucknum, were paired in a red Shelby built Mustang, winning the class and finishing an excellent fourth overall behind the trio of factory Porsche 907s. The paint on our sample is a little heavy, which is unusual these days from SMTS, and so we hope an isolated incident. Decal placement looks good and the satin black bonnet is neatly masked.
Reasonably well cast white metal kits that build with ease. Open wheeled subjects usually accurate, road cars not always so. With hand-built models again single seaters usually better. Made in England.
