Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Also available ABC253 - built
The first Sbarro Alcador appeared in 1995 and was based on a Ferrari Testarossa. This new version made its public debut at the Geneva motorshow in 2008 and is based on a Ferrari 360. By Sbarro standards it actually looks quite subdued and sensible, though if we apply normal styling rules, it's still fairly bonkers. The kit parts appear to capture the shape pretty well and this time the castings are much cleaner with precise, if slightly shallow engraving. There is plenty of photo-etch including wheel centres and brakes and this should make a very striking model when finished. Far more interesting than the average modern Ferrari.
About ABC Brianza
Well cast kits, usually resin but occasionally metal, with a good level of p/e detail. Accuracy sometimes questionable but usually pretty good. Good clear instructions. Built models usually to a very high standard. Larger scale kits for the experienced builder only. Made in Italy.
