Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Hand built model also available - ABC259 This two-seater boat-tailed Alfa Romeo was entered by the Scuderia Ferrari on the Mille Miglia in 1938 and driven to third overall by Piero Dusio. The kit contains lots of very fine photo-etch to detail up the body including louvres for the side panels but a few of the pieces will need some imagination to work out where they go. The main body casting is one of the worst that we have ever seen from ABC with the underside full of bubbles and the whole thing looks distinctly not square. We may expect such things from the very small marginal makers at half the cost, but not in a premium kit from one of the oldest names in the business. A shame because itís a great subject and the smaller pieces are very well made. One for the very experienced only.
