ABC Brianza - Aston Martin DB2/4 DHC Arnolt 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Aston Martin DB2/4 DHC Arnolt 1953 Chicago industrialist Stanley H ‘Wacky’ Arnolt bought several chassis from Aston Martin to have unique bodies fitted to and this subject is arguably the most elegant of those cars with its Bertone Drop-Head body. It’s a well known car on the American concourse scene and so there are plenty of photos around to assist with your build including a couple on the instructions. We can only guess that the pattern maker at ABC had mislaid these images while creating the body as the wheel arches are too low in the body and have flared lips on them, the vent by the distinctive chrome side trim is totally wrong and there should be another small panel low in the front wing which is missing entirely. The etched parts are very nice though and the castings are at least clean.
