Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Maserati 3500GT Bertone 1957 This one off coupe wasn’t perhaps one of Bertone’s finest moments but it has a certain charm and is typical of the work that he was doing in the very late 1950s. ABC’s kit doesn’t quite capture the shape, the roof and the front windscreen pillars both looking a little heavy. The etched parts are good though, with window frames and plenty of interior detail. We saw and photographed a pre-production model at Nurnberg Toy Fair which was fitted with incorrect wire wheels. The kit contains pretty authentic looking cast items with machined hubcaps.
About ABC Brianza
Well cast kits, usually resin but occasionally metal, with a good level of p/e detail. Accuracy sometimes questionable but usually pretty good. Good clear instructions. Built models usually to a very high standard. Larger scale kits for the experienced builder only. Made in Italy.
