ABC Brianza - Alfa Romeo 1900 Giardiniera 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Alfa Romeo 1900 Giardiniera 1951 Hand built also available - ABC294 ABC lists this model as Paris-Nice 1954 which we are assuming means that it was originally used as a support vehicle on this great cycle race, which was reinstated that year after a few years off. The only images that we have of the actual car are those that are included in the instructions and these show it languishing in a very sorry state in the undergrowth. A two tone paint finish will be needed and the well cast resin body has a distinct masking line moulded in which must then be filled with some steel wire that they supply as trim. Etch would be better in our opinion. Our kit has a large bubble in the rear seat which will need careful filling but otherwise clean-up will be straightforward. Well finished it will make for a handsome model.
