Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Mercedes 630 Pullman Limousine 1928 Hibbard & Darrin Hand built available ABC300 Hibbard & Darrin was a Paris based coachworks founded by two Americans and built cutting edge designs on a variety of quality chassis during the company’s short life. This seven-seater limousine has a simple elegance and the shape of the main body looks very good. The panel engraving is extremely crisp, but there are areas that are dangerously thin where the running-boards meet the chassis, so great care and a little filler will be needed during preparation before application of a three colour paint finish (cream, gloss black & matt black). There is more white metal in this kit than usual from ABC, with the wheels and tyres along with some of the interior parts and the usual chassis details and the wheels in particular are finely detailed. As usual there is plenty of very delicate etch to finish things off and it should build into a handsome model.
