ABC Brianza - Ferrari Modulo by Pininfarina 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari Modulo by Pininfarina Pininfarina’s Modulo concept, based on the Ferrari 512S sports-racer’s chassis first appeared at the Geneva show in 1970 and wowed the crowds with its striking looks. ABC produced just fifty examples of these kit parts (each individually numbered on the box, instructions and baseplate) and the overall shape of the car is pretty good. The panel engraving could be crisper, so you may wish to tidy things up as you build and there is plenty of fettling needed to fit the metal chassis into the resin body. The smaller metal parts are cleaner and there is plenty of very fine photo-etch.
About ABC Brianza
Well cast kits, usually resin but occasionally metal, with a good level of p/e detail. Accuracy sometimes questionable but usually pretty good. Good clear instructions. Built models usually to a very high standard. Larger scale kits for the experienced builder only. Made in Italy.
