Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Opel RAK 2 LSR 1928 1:18 Opel recognised the publicity value of rocket cars and after a fairly feeble first attempt with a modified single seater, in May 1928 Fritz von Opel strapped himself into the streamlined RAK2. With its large anti lift wings, RAK2 reached a claimed 220km/h in front of a packed crown at Avus. The shape of this unusual machine looks very good and it has an excellent black paint finish. The wire wheels and balloon tyres look realistic and we would just like to see a little more detail on those rocket tubes on the rear, rather than them just being blobs.
About BoS Models
Relatively low cost resincast models. Decent accuracy but some detailing such as wheels variable. Still very good value. Made in China.
