Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Tatra 97 1938 Only a few hundred of Tatra’s four-cylinder T97s were made and the design heavily influenced Porsche’s design for the original VW, so much so that Tatra attempted to sue. That didn’t go too well for them under Hitler’s occupation in the early 1940s and he shut production down, but they eventually received a significant settlement in the 1960s. The styling is typical of Hans Ledwinka’s designs with a streamlined shape and fine dorsal fin on the engine cover. Inside we see some nice detail touches including grab handles on the front seats for the rear seat passengers.
About BoS Models
Relatively low cost resincast models. Decent accuracy but some detailing such as wheels variable. Still very good value. Made in China.
