Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Chrysler Atlantic 1995 Chrysler’s Atlantic concept started life as a sketch on the back of a napkin and appeared in the metal two years later. The name and much of the styling are inspired by the Bugattis of the 1930s and Chrysler even followed Bugatti’s engine layout by creating a straight-eight built using two Neon motors. The design is also credited with starting the ‘Retro’ styling fashion, if we ignore one inconvenient detail; the Japanese already had several retro designs in production! The shape is an interesting one and for the most part well replicated, although when viewed from above it could be slightly narrower about the waist. The finish is very good, with an authentic looking pale gold shade and overall it looks the part.
