Delahaye 135 Cab Figoni El Glaoui Orange by Carbone - Chromes
1948
This striking cabriolet is one of a series of eighteen similar cars created by Figoni & Falaschi on Delahaye chassis and dubbed ‘El Glaoui’ in honour of the Moroccan prince who had commissioned the first of them. The example modelled is in a bright orange as it appeared at Retromobile in 2007 and comparing the model with photos from this event it looks very good. The various chrome trims are all neatly applied, the paintwork is excellent and the fine etched window frames give a realistic scale thickness.
