Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Returning to racing after an absence of ten years, Ian Ashley was one of the leading privateers in the 1993 BTCC series driving a year old Cavalier. Initially the car was run by the Maxted team and appeared in the white sponsorship of Pipeline Induction Heat but mid-season it reappeared in the far more vivid red and yellow of motorsports suppliers Demon Tweeks and from Silverstone onwards Ashley took his car and sponsor away from Maxted. The decals here are all clearly printed and include colour views of finished models from several angles. The test builds have been done on diecast but the old Formule Kits resin parts would also make suitable bases.
About Competition 43
Accurate resin kits and hand built models with excellent white metal ancillaries, a wealth of fine photo-etch and very good decals. Quality of resin bodies somewhat variable and suffer from bubbles in the resin. Select subjects within this range are produced in metal. Made in Germany
