Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 166MM 8th Spa 1949 #40 Dutchman Hans Roosdorp took delivery of his new Ferrari early in 1949 and immediately embarked on a busy schedule of racing. His first major race with the new car was the Spa 24 Hours where, assisted by de Ridder he finished eighth overall. The distinctive feature of cars from the Spa race at that time was a vertical race number board fitted to the rear deck and this is neatly applied as an etched piece on the model. The paintwork is excellent in bright Dutch orange and the general standard of the build (by Tron) is very good.
