Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lotus 72E 1973 The third variant of Ebbroís Lotus 72 kit offers the choice of Fittipaldi or Petersonís cars from the 1973 season. The core of the kit is similar to the parts in the 72Cs that we have already seen but with additional parts for the revised bodywork and suspension. The decals are very clearly printed but are by necessity incomplete for some of the sponsors, these missing parts available on Tabu Designís sheet (STUTAB20122)) which is as near to a perfect colour match as you will find. There is one error on the main decal sheet, Petersonís name spelled incorrectly and this is rectified with small additional decal which is loose in the box, so careful you donít lose it! Also on the decal sheet are seat belts, which arenít a great solution and Ebbroís box art actually suggests using Tamiya seatbelts (TAM12637) as an upgrade. The instructions are clearly drawn and quote Tamiya paint colours throughout. Looking through the kit, other nice touches are the choice of clear or tinted cockpit surround and tyres with the Goodyear markings already printed on. With the couple of additional parts already mentioned this will build a fine model.
Well detailed and very well finished die-cast and resincast models of (mostly) spectacular subjects. Also 1:10 & 1:24 quality plastic kits. Made in Japan.
