Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine We have a slight deviation here from Ebbro as they move into 1:43 F1 subjects with two significant pieces of Honda and F1 history. Honda’s first F1 race start came at the 1964 German Grand Prix where Ronnie Bucknum brought the car home in thirteenth place, having spun away from eleventh. A little over a year later, another American driver Richie Ginther brought the company their first win and the first for a Japanese built car. Both models match photos of the cars as they are preserved very well and we see just the right level of finish. The body detailing is neatly done with fine panel engraving and plenty of rivets and the suspension and exhausts for the transverse engines are also carefully reproduced. We’d like them even more if it wasn’t for the driver figures, no matter how well painted they are, but that is very much personal preference.
Well detailed and very well finished die-cast and resincast models of (mostly) spectacular subjects. Also 1:10 & 1:24 quality plastic kits. Made in Japan.
