Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Here’s something a little different, one of the very early production Datsun road cars. The Nissan company had started mass producing passenger cars in 1932 and each year they released a new, slightly updated version until production was suspended late in 1938 due to materials shortages caused by Japan’s conflict with China. Several body styles of the Datsun 17 were available including this four seat drophead ‘Phaeton’. A few survive and the smartly finished model checks out well with photographs of the real cars. An interesting piece of Japanese motoring history.
Well detailed and very well finished die-cast and resincast models of (mostly) spectacular subjects. Also 1:10 & 1:24 quality plastic kits. Made in Japan.
