Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine It’s rather ironic that the Nissan GT-Rs running in FIA GT are so far removed from the road car. Gone are the four wheel drive, turbocharged V6 and more electronics than an amusement arcade, replaced with a normally aspirated V8, rear wheel drive and a manual sequential gearbox, just like a proper race car. The British crewed #22 car of Dumbreck and Westbrook took several podium finishes but they never quite made the top step. However, their team mates, the German pairing of Krumm and Luhr, did on several occasions and won the championship. Visually the main difference between the two cars is the relevant national flag on the roof and both models match race photos very well in most details except for the tyres, which once again look like they’d be better suited to a bus. Frustrating.
Well detailed and very well finished die-cast and resincast models of (mostly) spectacular subjects. Also 1:10 & 1:24 quality plastic kits. Made in Japan.
