Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Most photographs that we have of Stirling Moss at Nassau in 1957 show him in the seat of an Aston DBR2, but it was in the Ferrari 290MM that he won both the Memorial Trophy & Nassau
Trophy races. On both occasions the car was wearing race #105 and the model looks pretty good from the two images that we have of the latter race. The details such as the very rough taped numbers are particularly well observed and match the photos perfectly. The same car was driven by Dan Gurney the following season and at Watkins Glen he finished 2nd. The general finish of the cars is in Faenza’s usual style, which means that they have aimed for a realistic level of finish, rather than the Pebble Beach Concourse standard favoured by some collectors.
