Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Here again we see an I tal ian
thoroughbred crossed with an American
workhorse, with a Corvette engine fitted
into a 200Si chassis, which must have
made for a fairly fearsome beast as
the original Maserati 4 cylinder was
only 190bhp, while the Chevrolet motor
would have made a fair amount more.
The bonnet features an interesting
curved air intake and we have a
photograph of the car at Virginia which checks out very well. For the Road America
500 Mile race there is an additional air intake fitted to the top of the nose. Again
the level of finish is just right.
About Faenza 43
Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
