Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Although the same basic car type, underneath these two 750 Monzas look very different. The first is a works entered car which was driven to victory in the Messina 12 hours by Castelloti and Trintignant and features the conventional head fairing and small humps over the cam covers on the bonnet. The second is the car of Ernie McAfee, finished in the familiar blue and white of entrant William Doheny and rather unusually this one is fitted with a large chrome rear bumper! There is also no head fairing and the car has a smooth bonnet. Most unusual and a very interesting subject. The finish on the models is Faenza's usual 'authentic' 1950s finish rather than a BBR style Pebble Beach shine.
About Faenza 43
Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
