Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari only built four examples of the 857S and two of them had the original high maintenance engines removed for simpler Chevrolet V8s when they were a few years old and being raced in club events in America. Jokko Maggiacomo was custodian of the car in 1959 and entered a number of races at Lime Rock without spectacular results. The car still has most of its original Scaglietti bodywork but we see exhausts either side and a fairly crude hole hacked in the bonnet with mesh over the top to provide air to the carburettor. Details that are all neatly modelled.
