Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Both of these models are of the same car, chassis 0582M. The #2 version was driven by Phil Hill in the very wet January race and we’ve found a few photos here which show Hill fording some pretty deep water before spinning out and also the car in the pits before the race, the latter in colour which is a great help and shows the model to be pretty accurate. The car then passed from John Von Neuman’s ownership to Jacques Bellesiles who raced it later in the year now finished in a light French blue. In the July Pomona meeting Bellesiles finished eighth. Both models are neatly finished, the Hill car having deliberately dull silver paint and vivid red stripes and numbers.
About Faenza 43
Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
